Solid Resources announces new director

EDMONTON, April 24 /CNW/ - Solid Resources Ltd. ("Solid") is pleased to
announce the appointment of Mr. Gary Kissack to the Board of Directors. Mr.
Kissack has more than twelve years of broad experience as an entrepreneur and
lawyer. His practice concentrated on corporate finance and securities,
including private equity and mergers and acquisitions. He has acted as an
investment and merchant banker, as well as lawyer to both private and public
companies. Mr. Kissack sits on the board of directors of a publicly-traded
corporation and various private corporations. Mr. Kissack was called to the
Bar in 1994, was an Associate and subsequently Partner at Goodman and Carr
LLP, and now is a financial consultant, investment banker and a sole
practitioner. He holds a BA, and a LLB.
